I am not the type of person that I would think the author was targeting - I am a seventy year old disabled grandmother. The two most important ways in which this book has helped me is in conquering fear and aspiring towards non-resistance. The story was very well paced, the dialogue normal (not stilted, full of over-educated words, etc. We shall listen, I am sure, with great interest to the historic retrospect of the expansion of China which Baron Suyematsu, with the advantage of his special knowledge on the subject, is to put before us.
