This is a series I will definitely share with my children, and recommend it if you enjoy reading about elves and fairies. The costs of continuing to repeat this pattern are just too steep. That said, I am glad I didn't give up. No wonder Alex uses every curse word he knows on one of the perpetrators (even if we're only told of one of those words).
